Nothing. I have the opposite problem - too many pieces, some of which I never wear. I never wear my Nautilus because I’m afraid of scratching it. I never wear my ceramic Daytona because I like the steel bezel much better. I never wear my Pepsi so I’m gonna sell it at RRP to Thin White Duke to get him off my case. Just minor **** like that which always bothers me, ya know?
Well that’s very thoughtful of you George. I accept!

There’s one watch company that I love above all - Nomos.

Nomos is often unjustly maligned for being austere, but I think restrained better describes their work.

There’s so much joy in their use of colour, typography, and their unusual cases.

I share your views in that NOMOS is my favorite brand launch of the last thirty years. It is remarkable how designer Susanne Gunther and owner Roland Schwertner (previously a professional photographer) both defined the entire continuing brand design aesthetic, and created an iconic dress watch, the Tangente, in their first models intro.

NOMOS doesn’t get too much attention on this board, but is revered by many on the dedicated watch sites. Ben Clymer of Hodinkee has credited them with providing an accessible introduction to haute horology.
