How about wearing it with a two piece matching tracksuit while shopping at Costco?

It's not New Jersey and I'm not 300 lbs, but a man can dream... View attachment 1964479

Man these Japanese sellers drive me nuts. Contacted them off c24, and they offer the exact same pricing. Makes no sense since there's no fee for them if they take my wire directly off c24. Sometimes they can be good, but it seriously feels like I have to email 6 or 7 dealers to find one that isn't a moron lol
I’ve bought four or five watches in Japan all at different used dealers. On two I got perhaps a 3% discount. One was more than ten years ago when watches weren’t as cool. Most grey and used dealers straight up say no negotiations. That’s just how it is in Japan. Doesn’t matter how you pay. I paid in cash for a Cartier CPCP Monopusher Tortue and a Bulgari OF. The only savings you generally get is on consumption tax if you are not a resident.

Got my Datejust back after leaving it for warranty repair at Rolex St. James'. They took exactly two weeks - super quick turnaround. Replaced the date wheel to take care of the blemish on the 1st numeral and also cleaned up the dial - turns out the chip I was seeing there was a piece of debris (no one knows how it got there) which they removed and inspected the rest to make sure there's no more left.

Wore it today, hard to beat that blue in the sun.

First of these.

Got a NATO while awaiting my beads of rice semi-historically-accurate band. Now realizing I should have looked at Geckota or Zulu. This one from Crown and Anchor or what have you is a little scratchy.

Should be here early next week. It is 44mm though...hopefully I can pull it off. The plan is to keep this one and sell my other GS. The textured dial, exhibition caseback, sapphire bezel (need to watch video of it to see what I mean), rotating bezel, and a few other features make it super appealing imo. Just hoping it doesn't wear like a ******* brick lol
