Has anyone been to the Tysons Corner Uniqlo yet? I haven't been yet but I was wondering how it compared to the Chicago and NYC locations with regards to inventory size and variety.

although I've posted pictures of all of Uniqlo's bombers here..
I'm still undecided between the fake suede bomber and the Uniqlo U bombers.
which do you guys l
Of those two, the Faux-Suede Bomber which has been reviewed here seems passable. If I were offered carte blanche I would save another fifty dollars and obsessively check sites like Grailed for used offerings from brands like: Our Legacy; APC or even Norse Projects. (I have gotten APC for roughly $100.) Failing that I would wait for COS or Topman to have a sale. As a complete aside, I will own up to being impressed by Topman designs, which seem more compelling than what I'm seeing as options here. -$0.02

Do you prefer these for design, quality or both?

Purely design. I'm not confident in the faux suede since I haven't handled it extensively. The bomber is also dry clean only as a result. The ribbing is very fine and is prone to pilling (not too much so far). I've had quite a bit of pilling on the inner ribbing on the bottom of the jacket, but I think that might have been due to another reason.

The inner lining of the bomber also seems like something that could be the first to fail if anything.

I just got the red Uniqlo U bomber in and think it looks and feels pretty nice, though I havent inspected it closely. If I'm paying relatively low prices (such as Uniqlo), I'd rather have low end fabrics done correctly (nylon), rather than faux high end fabrics that will fall apart.

Also, after visiting the NYC flagship last weekend and handling most of the Lemaire collection, I have to say the biggest slept on piece in this thread is the work jacket. Made of a heavy cotton twill and the pockets have button closures; I'm not a huge fan of Velcro. Fit is contemporary but still flattering. After much debate, I picked up the ochre one over the dark olive one just because of how unique the color is.

I was not impressed with the knits at all. The lambswool is coarse and feels like it's significantly poorer quality compared to knitwear I have from Ireland and Scotland. I realize the price difference is significant, but these to me were not worth purchasing.

Oh, and the t-shirts are probably still the best item in the collection. I cold machine wash/hang dry and have not experienced any appreciable shrinkage. I'll probably post pics over the weekend.

Having tried everything in person, the oversized down jacket is the best item from the collection IMO. Cotton work jacket was also nice for the money.

I went yesterday and the selection was much smaller compared to the Nyc locations. Apart from a couple of nylon bombers, I didn't see much uniqlo u which was a disappointment. Is uniqlo u no longer available online?

Is it more of a ruby than a true red?
