Looks good. I'd keep width as is. For the future, I feel jackets with more structure and an extended shoulder would be more flattering for your frame. It would 'build up' your phsyqiue. That being said, it is preference (I'm slim too and this is what I like, for example).

yes, an extended shoulder would do him a favour

I think the photo was taken from the bottom and it disturbs the proportions, making the hips wider and the shoulders narrower. For a proper assessment, a photo with the camera at shoulder height and taken from a greater distance would be better.

Dear all, thank you for the feedback so far. I've attached two more pictures from a (hopefully better) angle.

From this angle the length looks fine. For a better judgement you should take pictures with the camera set on a tripod or ask someone for help. Judging the proportions from photos is always difficult, so it's important to take as good photos as possible. The entire body must be visible in the photos, both from the front, from the back and from the side. Also, try to stand naturally (in the photos I have the impression that you're unnaturally moving your arms away from your torso).

The jacket should fit you well in your natural position, because you won't be able to control yourself all day long.

Thank you both. It's the first time I find a brand with a good fit for my size.

That's pretty nice fit. I wouldn't do anything and certainly not take in from anywhere.
Point taken on not taking it in. Although the sleeves could do with a bit of shortening, no? To let out the shirt cuffs from underneath?

Yes, about shortening the sleeves.

Depends from your shirt also. Sleeves don't look noticeably too long. Actually in my eye they look just about right. This is of course personal preference to a some degree. I would wear the jacket few times and let it settle and try with different shirts. After this i would do alterations if any.

Hello everyone,
I'd be very thankful if you could share some thoughts on the fit of this MTM shirt (not ironed, I'm sorry).
It feels tight at the armpit, lats and back when I reach forward (not even in an extreme way). I also noticed that there's a bit of space between collar and nape, especially with first button undone.

The company suggested adding 3/4 inch to the armhole and removing 3/4 inch from the bicep and forearm (too much in my view).

Any opinion on fit and style of the collar?

This is my "Good Suit" and one of only two I own besides the one I got married in. It's a Hugo Boss 44R.

I got this in 2016 with absolutely no idea about any aspect of suit fit. As I'm developing an interest in getting more tailored clothing and looking to buy some M2M in the coming weeks and months it would be great to know what to look out for.

With the benefit of my recent sartorial browsings here and elsewhere I would prefer fuller trousers and (much) wider lapels on my suits. I guess the jacket should also be longer. It does feel like a decent enough fit in the chest and shoulders, which means it was probably too big when I bought it.

I'd also appreciate suggestions for any alterations I can make to this suit. I rarely wear it but it would be nice to have the option. To my inexpert eye an adjustment to sleeves and trouser length would be a decent start, but that's the obvious stuff.

jacket is way too short, too much fabric in the back/arm area but also too tight in the waist - armhole/sleeveheads are astrocious as well

trousers too long and too tight in the buttock area as well

basically, if you see any creases there is an indication that something is wrong

Yes, I really have no idea how they determined that selling a 190cm man a regular length jacket was a good idea.

Do you mind being specific about the armhole/sleevehead issues?
