It was good vittles.

Opened a Produttori Barbaresco 2017 today. It was a mistake. Unbelievably tannic. Put the cork back in for tomorrow.

2017 Clos Solene L’Insolent - 30% a petit verdot, maybe accounts for the unique leather/tobacco notes? Very interesting

2008 Heredia Tondonia - really good, if not the most refined vintage



Epitome of a restrained napa cab, much more tobacco/leafy element than the usual fruit bombs


Very good (if massively scaled, Paso-style) GSM
