Sometimes short sometimes regular never tall or long.
I've got two 42R Canali blazers I would trade for stuff in 36R

NOPE. The only tags is the one I posted, and the wash instructions. No content tag or tag indicating where it was made.

Yikes, I'm not sure then...Could be fake...Why would Paul Smith not put his full name on the tag...On a second look, the "P" does look a bit off...Sorry, I'm not a PS expert. Anyone else?

Since moving to LA one of my favorite gems is a Jewish thrift store right across the street from Sony Pictures Entertainment studios...they get amazing donations of vintage tailored suits, though many are orphaned suit jackets.

Here's one such orphan... a vintage Armani suit jacket (70's?) in midnight blue that has a slight texture to it. Made in Italy and $15 IIRC. Personally I'm partial to wider lapels, lower button stance, piped pockets and no vents (I have a large bum), so when I saw this had all these features, I had to get it.

I had it tailored for about $50 to have sleeves let out (you can see the original fold), the sides taken in, and have some collar roll smoothened out. Then I changed out the buttons with some black brass Ralph Lauren buttons I got on ebay. Rather happy with the result; I wear this one all the time.

PS is a diffusion line of Paul Smith. It's probably that. Font looks right for PS.

Looks off to me. The label doesn't look like any PS Paul Smith shirts that I've seen. Also, the label should read "PS Paul Smith" or "Paul Smith PS", not "PS". The care tag also doesn't look like any I've seen for any of the Paul Smith lines (mainline/London/PS/Jeans).
I agree with this, I have found a few of the PS line and they always had Paul Smith written underneath. If you are really curious, you could always visit here and ask them.

Last night I found:

- A blue and red striped boating blazer, a DB suit, and a 3-piece tuxedo, all bespoke, all from 1933
- A Loro Piana THICK cashmere scarf
- A pair of spectator shoes
- A pair of Kiton pants

I was on my way home to take pics and post them here.

...then I woke up.

Couldn't go back to sleep for a while because half my brain was so excited about the haul and the other half was mad that it was all a dream.
