Nice haul!!!! And I think that's the first Halliburton posted in this thread. :slayer:

i passed on a set of the full size luggage like a year ago. it was oooold and in not the best shape, all the linings were gone, etc. they wanted like 100 bucks for all of it (3 or 4 pieces) and i passed since i didn't even have anywhere to put it. this is the only other halliburton thing i've ever seen in a thrift besides that.

+1 Goddamn. Plus, those prices! With that kind of haul I was expecting significantly higher prices, a la LA.

INSANE knitwear haul today. Haven't thrifted in awhile but following this thread again got the juices so I hit one of my old haunts. All 100% cashmere, all mint condition - and all my size :D. Gray ribbed sweater is Cucinelli - hang label is missing. Was never that impressed with Cucinelli's tailored and other stuff - now I understand why they are known for knits - this stuff is REDONK. Total cost around $40. NOT AVAILABLE

+1. Woa, Mainy. Nicely done. My measley pickup NWT RL black label 91% cashmere cowl neck button-up cardi, size S. But it cost me every bit of a hundo at TJX, even on final clearance. Going to hit the bay in the next few days, but if any of you small dudes want it at proxy, it's yours. Edit Pics or it didn't happen, so:
Goddamn blackberry camera! You're in "flower" mode, for christ's sake! Focus on the freaking tag! Bah, I give up.

Worst day of thrifting ever.

I popped into a GW on the way home last night, just for a quick look. The store was mostly junk and very crowded. A morbidly obese woman in a powerchair (one of those motorized scooters) ran into me. She nailed my right foot, putting a HUGE gouge in the toe of my favorite pair of shoes, my Carmina captoes. GODDAMMIT.

I left empty handed because everything was either junk or marked up to eBay prices.

Got in the car only to realize I had lost my newly acquired Georg Jenson tie bar.

FML.

91% is such a tease. It seems like there's a perception out there that anything less than 100% cashmere might as well be .01% cashmere.

Picked up a few things at lunch. Photo quality is terrible, had to use my iPhone...

An awesome vintage Harrods double breasted tuxedo. I can't find a year, but I'd guess '50s-'60s. I also have no idea the resale on these, but the quality is so great, I didn't want to leave it. No moth holes. I'll post better pictures later, but a bunch of buttonholes on both the jacket and pants, all handsewn. Anyone have ANY clue as to the makers of these? No tags or country of origin. I'd guess an English maker, but I don't know how to find out.

I found 3 NOS knit wool ties. I especially love the one on the right. Not sure how old they are, but were sealed in their original plastic.

Usually don't get out much during the week, but did make a stop off yesterday. Picked up the sweetest BB jacket/SC Ive ever thrifted, unfortunately not my size (tagged 48 XL)

BB tweed shooting/hunting jacket, dual vent, suede shoulder and elbow patches, and the coolest part, with leather covered BB sheep logo buttons..(N/A at the moment)

Only other grab was BB Madison glenplaid trousers, pleated & cuffed, 40 x 29 +1.5" cuffs......

Ahhh man, sorry to hear that! You know things are faqed up when you have fat people whose legs can't even support their own body weight, who has to resort to a motorized chair with wheels to move around. Was she being apologetic or just being a biatch? I think I'm going to start wear steel toe boots when I got thrifting next time.

I found these but since they're not my breed, I left them. PRL.
