found more furniture but who cares

i me do am care me do.

i would gladly pick that stuff up over clothing any day, if i had the space to store it (well, i do - empty 800sf room downstairs), a way to haul it (ok i can rent a uhaul) and a market for it (hmm last i heard ATL is a pretty big town). so i have no excuse except not being on the lookout...and i'm sort of lazy.

Frenchy u got to move here to new England, used snowmobiles and jetskis for sale on every corner...and you can buzz between thrift stores on either depending on how cold it is. You'll fit right in wearing one of those suits. You'll have to slick back your hair with whale baleen or bear grease...oh wait never mind...

At first I was certain this was some sort of unmarked Hermes, but now I suspect it may be a Versace. Someone please help.

Gorgeous Chipp overcoat. This thing is nearly as heavy as I am. Not free of defects, but no hole has gone through yet. Would be quite easy to reweave. Too nice to pass up for the price and will undoubtedly still sell if no one here wants it.

^^^ i think it is a Hermes, its a neck tie made out of a scarf.the hermes logo will be somewhere in there .
i had one just like that awhile back,no hermes tag and just neiman -marcus on the end.
curiousity got the better of me and i actually unfurled it (is that the proper word?) and its basically a scarf.
(it was damaged so i didnt mind, dont do it to yours although i think a scarf would bring in more $$$)

True. I did not think of it like that. I knew it was one of the scarf prints, and forgot the only I handled before had the tie-keeper tag and no other markings. Thanks for jogging my memory.

I'm on the fence about unrolling it. As it sits, there is some slight fading in areas that would not show when worn. However, if I unroll and sell as a scarf, that area becomes a lot more prominent. Either way, I don't think I'm going to reach the die-hard Hermes collectors with a tie in this condition.

Well, it's a scarf print but not an actual, complete scarf that's been folded, right? Never seen one in person.

leave it alone! whatever you do don't take it apart. put that sucker on ebay and you will rake in some $$$, definitely looks more than wearable to me

When I said "on the fence", what I really meant was 99% sure I wasn't going to take it apart.

It is. None of the fading is visible when worn. I really don't understand how that fading happened.
