OK terrible lighting thrift fit pic, but it's my first one. I mainly just want to know if you guys think the sc looks too long, if you can tell.

Bowtie: Burberrys (it's pink and looks great with the SC, but maybe looks a little small with the collar) Thrifted by me
SC: Isaia Linen/Silk From NerdyKarim on AAAC
Shirt: BR. Come on! I'm sorry. (it's a bit small in the neck, but fits my arms well) Thrifted by me
Pants: Brooks Madison (gray) From MattR
Shoes (not pictured): AE Strands, brown Thrifted by me

The SC set me back a bit, but it was still a great deal. Everything else was super cheap.

If you'd lay your arms (at least 1) loosely at the sides, I'd have a better idea if that was too long.

Picked up a few interesting things today. All available.

First up, a Holland & Holland shirt, because I know some folks here like to shoot...

Collar - 15" ... P2P - 21.5" ... Sleeves - 33"

Next, Trafalgar braces, grabbed because of the really nice burgundy leather.

Now, hoping someone might be able to help me ID this brown knit tie.

The tag says, All Silk, Made in Italy and "C.C.I.A Milano 723293". Google search reveals it might possibly have something to do with Chanel?, but that's all I can figure out.

Also, not really a thrift brag, but today I went to the Harry Rosen outlet with some of the cash I've made from thrifting and bought something I've been wanting for a while. Paid a roughly B&S price.

Incotex chino-lino pants. Not available.

I really like the chino linos, I was stoked to find them in my size, for every bit of $3

Is everyone jacked for the weekend? Positive thinking? I know I am - cars paid off as of today, got two newly-discovered indie thrifts to hit up, plus all my regulars, and 50% off on Sunday. SON you know I be knucklin' storefronts at 9am - - rappa rappa rappa LET ME IN.

I code all day and need lots of screen real estate. It's either the 17 or get an external monitor to go with it, and I prefer to be mobile.

How can you possibly write code on an ipad? That sounds like hell.

It's hard to tell the length of the coat since both of your arms are not at your sides for reference. I like my coats to end at my thumb's first knuckle. I think the button stance is a bit high. Maybe you can use 1 more inch of waist suppression. Love the bow tie. Which university do you teach at?
