Any skateboard people know much about this? There’s one eBay sold for $2,000 but that’s probably way too good to be true.

It’s 47” long and appears to be a “pintail”. Made by Sector Nine.

A few choice finds from recent, I was fortunately able to match one of the Isaia suits. Holding out faint hope of matching the Barbera.

This was 19.99 and part of a bundle. The bundle included a 3ds (pictured), pokemon black/white, and a limited orange DSI (not pictured, N/A)

One of my favorite spots, it's a bit of a trek into the woods to get there but these popped off for $5.99. AE Yorktowns

IMG_0467.JPG

1980s PRL miUSA blazer $6.99. Excellent condition, sleeves were too short for me!

IMG_0486.JPG

APC for $5.99....my size but unfortunately the color isn't working for anything in my closet.

IMG_0552.JPG

$6.99 TNF Apex Evolution

IMG_0644.jpg

Instant offers via messaging for $110 a piece for these HP iPaqs (declined), thrift but on the higher end (roughly $25 ea). Comps looked juicy so I grabbed the 3 new ones.

IMG_0702.JPG

H Stockton x Samuelsohn suit $13.99

IMG_0769.JPG

E thrift from a while back on this Tony Lama for $12 shipped. This is available and a size 32. Unfortunately the listing was removed as elephant is an endangered species and therefore ineligible to sell on ebay.

IMG_0849.JPG

Finally got around to mending the button on this suit. It was half off at $6.99. Bespoke BBGF suit

IMG_0950.JPG IMG_0955.JPG

Burberry trench $6.99. Nova check lined and for once I found one that had the wool lining still buttoned in! This must have been the tail end of production under the Burberry's name.

IMG_1049.JPG

Sid Mashburn / RLBL $5.99 each. Fortunately the man next to me was busy looking up Armani Collezioni shirts so I consider this fortunate!

IMG_0957.JPG IMG_0990.JPG

Random pants for $1 to $5.99 each. Brown ones are a recent Burberry cotton/linen and black ones are my first pop on Flint & Tinder

IMG_1020.JPG IMG_1032.JPG IMG_1136.JPG

Charvet for Neiman Marcus 100th anniversary tie $2.99. This tie is what kicked off my hunt for suits. They ended up coming in a day after the ties dropped. Working on getting the Brioni tie dewrinkled.

IMG_1092.JPG

These were the isaias paid $6.99 for the suit and $6.99 for the jacket. No complaints! The jacket does have some ink marks on the lining but I was hard pressed to pass it up.

IMG_1100.JPG IMG_1110.JPG

This shirt was a bit distressed but felt very durable. Sad to see it was not miUSA but no complaints at $5.99

How do people NOT know the highest quality brands? All-Clad should be just as well known as Le Creuset.

It keeps rolling in, piece by piece. Embroidered Hard Rock Cafe (save the planet!) and an 80s Polo cologne messenger bag that actually opens up and does all the messenger bag stuff.

So that’s what that was that I saw today, thought that it was just a cheap knock off Polo bag. Lol
Found one but it was bigger and had a double closure.

Yeah. These (and certain T-shirts, which are really cool) were given away with cologne/perfume purchases, sometimes with a mailed-in proof of purchase. I’m not sure if they were ever for sale, but it seems unlikely. Weirdly, there’s a lot of different kinds of these bags, some of which will even fetch a decent amount on the inter webs. They’re mostly really crappy quality, but some of them look cool.

Before I left Ralph Lauren, I had accumulated over 100 of those GWP (gift with purchase) bags. I have used them for a variety of purposes. And, yes, some sell in the $50-$100 range.

It's funny how a random line remembered from the thread shows up as an assist: saw this lens poking out from an Eos Rebel XS that had no batteries or charger, or anything else, marked "as-is". Had left my damn phone in the car, but remembered someone on here talking about "the Canon lenses with the red ring". Not wanting to leave it to the attention of a lurking flipper, I took a flyer on it for a couple Jacksons (which I'll get for just the camera body), and glad I did. Rokinon 35mm 1.4 AS UMC in perfect condition. Turns out these lenses are indeed decent money. So thanks to whoever posted that hint!

As an aside here, just about any prime (non-zoom) lens for a popular system with a max aperture of 1.4 or bigger (f/1 is approximately the max possible) will sell for a decent amount. I once picked up an old Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 lens (these are the lenses for the cameras that came before the EOS 35mm systems) for $10 Canadian and sold it for US$80.
