That 1978 date is just the copyright date of when Garfield was created. Doesn't mean the shirt was made in 1978.

I figured that, but the rest I’ve seen have dates within a few years of production. So this is....mid-90s ish and not worth it?

some recent rescues from the bins. clothing is $1.39/lb, this came in at 7lbs, so a shade under $10. Holland & Holland trench coat with reversible duster. exceptionally well made, new it was in $2k range.

some recent rescues from the bins. clothing is $1.39/lb, this came in at 7lbs, so a shade under $10. Holland & Holland trench coat with reversible duster. exceptionally well made, new it was in $2k range.

Not much lately but with the change in the weather I sense the spring cleaners will make things more interesting. Till then this Olympic Weavers handwoven slubby tweed tie from Sequim Washington will have to do. It seems vintage... rather skinny but nice as a fun accent piece... a tie that attracts more attention for being old school than the fact that its a tie. Seaquim still has weaving guilds but nothing called "Olympic Weavers". I like old West Coast arts and crafts era stuff but will try to dig up the brand or guild that did this.
