I heard it from a regular who talked about it to gw but they said since he’s taking ppls donations before they enter the store they can’t do anything about it.

If it’s happening on their property they should be able to.

so like going up to people and saying "let me help you bring those in for donation"... thinking he WORKS for goodwill? they should call the cops to have a little talk with him. that's BS!

i'm actually more pissed about that than, say, a goodwill worker skimming off the top in the donation pile. they aren't paid much, let them skim a bit IMHO.

My answer for the best cost:usage thrift find brought up last week is a Frieling french press I found I’d guess 6 years ago that gets almost daily use.

I’m excited about these I suspect they are Tart Optical grayish brown fade to clear

They had 4 of them. I had to get the 34" instead of the 32". I don't wanna talk about it 😭

Going back to the most useful non-clothing I’ve thrifted. Definitely a set of vintage cast iron pans. Actually found them separately, but all from the same maker (BSR).

10 1/2 gets the most daily use, but the others still get used fairly regularly.
