Either way, they are gren like and fulfill the same purpose for me, just as the TF does. So no problem. Not like anyone I know would even know what a grenadine tie is. Hell, most of them probably don’t even own a tie. So anyone else have some gren color suggestions? Likes or dislikes of certain makers? Have some they want to trade?

Not gren but my favorite tie of all time was an emerald green Panta matka tie. Easily the best tie I have ever owned.

Real or fugazi? Flipable? I will most certainly not be able to wear that. Current bid is around 5 dollars or so. If someone here wants it I can try to get it for you.

Real, older.

Thanks friends! How the hell are you supposed to wear that thing? As a dinner jacket with tuxedo trousers black bow tie and a tuxedo shirt?

Okay so while I am working from home I do have plenty of extra time usually spent driving around to thrift stores. Hoping to involve some of you in my grenadine tie collection pursuit. I have become a big fan of grenadines and for their versatility and refined look.
I currently have a nice group acquired over the years from thrift stores, NMWA, NMLC clearance and trading with some of you. Here is my current collection.

so first question, are we sure these are all grenadines? I am positive on most but unsure on the Tom fords.
Next, thinking of what else I may want to add. Sam Hober has a real nice corn yellow now that I think I have the basics covered. What do you guys think of grenadines? What colors that I don’t have do you think I should pursue? My wardrobe is generally casual with odd trousers and sport coat instead of suits.
also, do any of you have any nice colors I am missing and be interested in trading for some other non grenadine ties in my collection. Hoping to spark a little conversation while we cannot thrift as this is always my favorite thread.
I don't see any of mine in there :hide:
