First up this vintage Accutron. New battery and she fired right up. Apparently the batteries originally specced for these are slightly lower voltage than modern batteries, so it runs noticably faster now, but good enough.

Didn't notice this until I got it home, but the details on the temple seem to be pulling apart. Not sure if that's intentional to allow flex, or just pulled.

Finally, paid up a bit for this, but my wife liked it so that's worth it.

Since watches were mentioned, I think @Nataku found an amazing NIB Breitling a few years ago!

Good memory. I've only found three watches over the years.

Found the Breitling back in 2012. I think I paid $10 for it? Wasn't sure if it was real or not. Turned out to be the real deal with service records and everything. Selling it was one of my bigger regrets.





Found an Omega (Seamaster, I think?) for $1 or something ridiculously cheap like that in a watch basket around that same time. No band and needed a little TLC, if I recall. Sold it to a member on here (sorry, I forget who it was) and I think he still has it. No photos of that one.

Last one I found was this Hamilton for $5 from a few years ago.
