1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Vintage Brooks Brothers ties are my favorites. The width, length (slightly shorter than contemporary, perfect for higher rise pants), and thickness (never too bulky) are just right. Plus the designs are usually nice, and they aren't too hard to come by. Even though I have many "nicer" ties, I have a soft spot for vintage BB. I think I'm up to like 15 vintage #1 stripes at this point.

Those look nice Spoo. I'd be thrilled to find all those at once.

    first a flip brag

found this lucite bar console in rough shape, paid more than regular thrift prices and brought it to a local antique dealer friend, who sent it to his lucite guy to restore it. went by last night to see it restored and snapped this pic--this dude is a miracle worker. got a call this morning from the dealer that an interior designer loved it and bought it this morning. this console will soon be in one of sarah jessica parker's new shoe boutiques.

and the best part is I sextupled my investment

Lucite day soon turned into leather day, with a sick Longhi shearling, Coronado conceal carry vest, and a sweet old Schott

...What are the good ones to checkout?

I havent gone to one in a long time...figured they were full of trendy nonsense.

Could use an assist on this...found this awesome white self-striped shawl-collar dinner jacket that has a Holland & Sherry Bespoke label I've never seen before but also a Tom James tailored for customer label...what gives? It's not the Holland & Sherry fabric label I typically see on jackets that are made by someone else just using their fabric.

Is the Armani legit? I'm pretty sure it is. The "CA number" tag is just stuck on though. Which is for Holt Renfrew. But I've seen legit ties in store with stick on CA numbers too.

I did get this Moncler even though high odds it's fake. What is there looks good, but it doesn't have comic or arm patch or hologram/SN stuff. If needed, I can return it tomorrow when I get the other coat. What do you all think?

SteelGuy, that is the starter you're looking for! That Patagonia shelled Synchilla should go quickly as well!
