My problem is I can't tell the difference between any of the pendleton wool shirts. Wouldn't know a Board shirt from a campfire shirt if it slapped me in the face.

Here's what you need to know.

The Trail Shirt – has a straight collar and elbow patches with one button-through pocket.
The Fireside Shirt – has a button down collar and one plain pocket.
The Lodge Shirt – has a straight collar and one pocket.
The Field Shirt – has the two button-through flap pockets.
The Board Shirt – the shirt prized by the Beach Boys, has a straight bottom, sport collar and two flap pockets. This shirt works as a shirt or a casual jacket.
The High Grade Western Shirt – has a snap front and cuffs with front and back peaked yokes.

I always thought the sport collar referred to the fact that it had the loop.

Haha. No doubt. I found a recent BB tweed, J Crew fair isle wool sweater, and a Patagonia puffer jacket at one store the other day and I felt like I had struck gold.

Here's a tip for the thrifters that also go to estate sales.

Vitamins.
Seriously. Unopened and unexpired bottles of vitamins and supplements can bring good money. I don't mean the Wal Mart Nature's Way vitamins. But, there are people that spend big $ on supplements and they can be flipped for money.

Now, don't go out and buy a bunch and flood the market. My wife would kill me. She makes $$$ selling vitamins from estate sales.
