I just sold a snap t that I bought on clearance last year for more than I bought it for new. haha. These things are wild.

This is pretty much the only thing I miss about living in the Bay Area... Having an outlet store nearby. So much win there...

Totally! I was just making a sarcastic joke.

Your sarcastic joke sounded remarkably (as I read it) like the jabs I get when I tell people in other counties in CO that I live in Boulder. Careful with (not) using emoticons.

First, thank you to everyone who PMed and replied to the thread about the Omega watch. The willingness of you guys to share your knowledge makes this thread a great community to be a part of. I ended up purchasing it today for 30% off, which makes it the most expensive item I've ever bought at a thrift store. It keeps correct time, though I know the date mechanism doesn't work. Now I just need to get it fixed and change out this horribly dated band.

Also picked up today:
Bergdorf Goodman house label cashmere sweater. Saddle shoulder. Crewneck. Made in Scotland. NA. I've been wanting/needing a navy cashmere sweater for years and this fits perfectly. :slayer:

Small thrift fit. Free professional headshots at work (I bet you can figure out where I work). BR sport coat ($5 nwot) and Proper Cloth shirt (also $5). I don't know why my face does what it does when I smile.

Made a quick thrift stop as well, but it was very dry. Picked up another vintage fur (this time at true thrift pricing) and this women's PRL(?) 100% cash coat with a sample tag underneath the label. A little confused because it's the PRL pony label, but it's purple rather than blue. Sorry for the blurry label pic. Better pics to come.

What RL line is this label from?

I often see it referred to as "Ralph Lauren Collection" or simply RLPL. It's the Purple Label for the women's side. I often see Made in USA on these, so perhaps the line is a little bit older, as (I think) @Mannix suggested.

It's definitely not modern day women's Ralph Lauren Collection, but rather an old line of RL women's attire. I'd say 1980s, but the style of the coat itself may lend a more concrete answer.
