EXACT SAME THING happened to me today. Picked up a Filson Westlake jacket and love the fitment. Other tags the tags being missing I'd swear its brand new. I've already picked up three other coats in the last couple months, but I am justifying keeping it in that my Barbour is now too big.

On a similar note, if anyone is looking for a Barbour Classic Bedale in a size 48 that been worn less than 10-15 times let me know. (I think only one of those times did it actually rain, mostly just wore it to my office during the really cold months with a sweater under it)

I would just leave the bag at the front if possible. The more you take the effort to not incriminate yourself to him will help. This may suck and be an inconvenience to you but like you said you Spend hundreds or thousands there and your living off the profits. What would happen if this store got off your list because he felt like abusing that power and banning you. How would effect your bottom line. Sometimes you have to pick your battles. There store there rules in my eyes. Having the mindset of going in to fight with him will end sour I think. Keep your cool. There is security at our stores but they profile people. They all know me and look the other way now cause they know what I do and see me all the time at all stores on a random basis. They all just focus on something else now and leave me alone.

It has to do with the shape of the glass and how the wine breathes. Also, the shape affects the way the tannins will coat your tongue and mouth. It also has to do with the rim whether it is cut or rolled.

Big ups to the bros who dropped that Japanese SW&D knowledge on me. Been on a crazy e-thrift/super deep discount streak lately, and this was the first to clear customs. [IMG]

Well, time for me to post last weekend's AE haul. Not true thrift. Somewhere between true thrift and consignment. Either way, too much fun! None of this stuff is available right now. It will be used to fund a family vacation. Considering my backlog, I promise to have everything listed by this time next year (even that is an ambitious goal). Without further delay, I give you some Alabama discount pron. Everything is either NWT or NIB.

AE ties (shitloads of them... this is about 40 of them)

Nearly same thing happened to me yesterday, except the un-needed jacket was Hickey Freeman, alpaca-lined and goat. It's now in the trunk of my car/closet #2.

^^^ Lone Pine is awesome stuff. Had a leather jacket from them once and it was amazing. Really expensive too. You scored on that one.

    Stuff from today.

    I like seeing this.

Never heard of em but took a gamble at $1.99

    What's in the dovetailed box?

Interapid dial indicator. Sure, I'll take it.

Best find of the day? Vintage Filson ligther-weight Mackinaw. Fabric reminds me of an old WWII army jacket I had. No idea how old it is. I'm gonna send some pics to Filson and see if they can date it for me. Had a Sinclair receipt in the pocket from 1983. Fits me perfectly, totally N/A

FU Goodwill for writing a price code on the label. :fu:
