It's a wool coat, and it's got room for layering this way, and it's pretty narrow as is, clothes are sensitive to outer measurements but the inside fit can be deceiving at the same time. I also learned my lesson with getting too aggressive with sleeve widths with the first couple hundred things I made. Those who don't like the stock pea sleeve can always take it to a tailor and get it tapered, it's a very easy, cheap thing to do. Charly is doing a good job of sizing people into the clothes; all of the shirts fit well and the peas are looking great too. umhaha, half of the buttons on the coats (the top ones) were sewn by the tailor, the others I had to sew in, on all of the coats that have been received so far. Buttons may need an adjustment for some people depending on their body shape I guess but that is not critical either. There's like 4 or 5 peas left to ship from the first round that are sitting at the shop, they need to be taken to a different place to get the buttonholes put on, then they're done. Monday, they said. The 2nd round will be put right in then. We are doing a 3rd run, orders for which are being taken now and will close soon. We have to make sure they are still selling wool, as the season is coming to close at the textiles market. Chinese New Year's is coming up next week and there's a 3 day holiday for all workers, including the people who work for me, so I will spend that time working on the DB trench, and maybe get some other stuff out. The belt guy said he has work orders for another couple weeks so belts are a little delayed. As for jeans, I am trying to find an affordable flight to Okayama, and I can go. Gonna nerd out on jeans and eat a lot of japanese hamburgers.
