what are you guys eyeing up for winter sale

For the last year or so I've been spending an inordinate amount of time reading about leather jackets (SF, Fedora Lounge, etc.). I bought a Schott Cafe Racer in a mid brown cowhide last year and a pre-owned horsehide Eastman Leather Californian (half belt design) just last week, but I can't stop drooling over this RRL tea-core cafe racer. RRL does distressing better than most and I love the brown wearing through. Even without seeing this in person, it still looks great to me.

I'm tempted but not sure how the color/distressing comes off in person. Any comments or feedback is much appreciated, thanks!

All I gotta say is

Fact: RRL does some of the best distressing in the business.

This looks like the same silhouette as the LE patchwork military jacket from about two years ago. If that is indeed the case, it runs large. I am always a medium and the small fit me best but not good enough. Sleeves were a little short. Again, IF it's the same as that patchwork, it's an odd cut that requires trying on.

They certainly do. I won't bother with distressed denim from anyone BUT RRL. Any idea when your custom Aero is slated to arrive? IIRC you got in on the December production, right?

Can't wait to see it.

It runs a little big I have and really like it ,very understated gets a lot of use.of use

Agreed. I have quite a few pairs of RRL denim, all pre-distressed.

My custom Aero Seven is supposed to arrive mid to end of January. Yep, I got in on the December production run. Can’t wait to get it!

I've seen this in person and it's incredible. If I didn't already own the previous iteration of it (which, with some leather cream, shows the factory + my own patina nicely); I would've been very tempted to blow my budget and grab it.
