Guidi zip boots need to be at mid height. I personally can't stand the ankle height zip boots.

Thanks all. I do appreciate your experience in all of this. Trying to not be a pest but I had to ask.

Edit: Just ordered the 698s in black reverse horse.

Pics in a couple months. :)

Thanks again.

Beware of Guidi if you have anything but narrow/narrow-regular feet. Every pair I have tried has this weird ridge all along the interior of the shoes, that sticks out all along the border. If your feet are not narrow you will always feel the ridge and it's super annoying and/or uncomfortable. Never felt anything like it in other shoes/boots from any other brand.

^^Thanks for that tip. My feet are 4" or 10cm wide. I have often though that was wider than normal but I've been able to fit into some rather narrow boots as of late.

I'm curious, I've never owned any reverse horse leather. Is it more susceptible to water?

That would be great except that would completely increase the price. Are there any similar boots to guidi's style that I can get in size 15?

From what i recall MTO is not that much more than retail but i haven't looked into it in a long time.

The workboots are mine- not sure if I'm keeping both but they are in route w/ the lightweight linen/wool blazer.
