Looking for back or side zips (more concerned with quality and fit) Mostly going for something I could tuck pants into.

I'm stuck on deciding between CCP, GUIDI, and A1923. Any comments or suggestions?

i personally couldnt/wouldnt tuck into ccp, however, a1923 has certain versions with a wier shaft that would be great for a boot tuck, also laced boots in general will work better for a tuck than zips

I realize that laced boots are better for a tuck, but many outfits that I enjoy involve a tucked zip boot so I'm trying to venture into it. I'm more or less curious about quality and fit.

Examples of things I'm kinda looking for:

2 things: 1. i am a little confused are all those pants short or something because i cannot imagine stuffing jeans into a guidi or an ma+, especially if jeans are already stacked. 2. i have Zam Barrett DNA jeans that are stacked and if i put them into the boots it looks silly, i honestly wanted a boot tuck but it does not work for me, perhaps its just not for me.

I think you just need to be really skinny with small ankles.

Candrew: you might wanna take a look at Ann D or Damir? They make sidezips with a chunkier profile that're more for tucking. Snowman does this a lot I think.

i like how "hand made" is a loose term now

it's not all that loose of a term, it's just that people don't realize how many things are hand made. Most things are hand made. iphones, sneakers, cars, etc.
Of course, the degree to which something is hand made is all together another story.

There is shell cordovan version coming for AW13- it looks really, really nice.
