never. it's not a very appealing style...is the tongue really affixed or is it just laced that way?

Still don't understand. Will update when they arrive, really curious what it can be and how em should fit. plus, the weight of the boots and box is 2.4kg. As I remember, old black Augusta's boxes weight near 600g. So this shit is quite heavy.

Wormwood, that's a damn nice collection. Where're the side zips? [IMG]

I've marveled at your purchases on SZ. You've picked up some amazing pieces over the last few months. Namely those CDiem back laces. What size are you and where do you live?

I was implying that you must have a pair of back zips somewhere. I was also implying if you were my size I would come and rescue those backlaces. [IMG]

I do remember your old account. You're dropping some of the best fit pics over on SZ at the moment. Keep it up... or post more here!

Well, looks like I'm about to order DIAGONAL ZIP CCP in scarred, vegetable tanned horse cordovan leather. Most likely going for unlined boot although I think I read that lined > unlined? Any thoughts from members?

I've asked before and got my answer about sizing. So if I wear size 43 in Guidi 988 I should go with size 7 in CCP horse cordo.

looking for an ankle-height, black lace-up...the 995 is the prototypical guidi option?

have ruled out pig skin, and based on pics, I'd be leaning toward getting these in donkey skin. what other leathers do these come in?

liked stuff I'd seen from marsell a lot based on what I'd seen last year, but not really loving anything I've seen for the upcoming f/w. kinda bummed

I think for 955 it's available in Horse, Reverse Cordovan, Pig, Donkey, Kangaroo, and baby calf.

Those IS gel crack boots look amazing. My pair in super vachetta are coming along quite nicely as well.

Wherever Yoko is sourcing her leather is incredible - probably Guidi. The different options and treatments are top of the game imo. The black culatta cavallo cracked and dark grey waxed calf being my favourites so far. The new bags coming out have some sick options too.

edit: superego, get IS if your budget allows. Pics of the gel crack cow above. Here're some of the super vachetta I have. There's other options, including kangaroo, calf, bison, scarred cow, lamb. Depends on what's on offer for the season, or what the stores ordered.
