Thanks again for the info. So here's another Guidi question for you experts.. is the Guidi sole shape the same for all 69x / 98x boots? I noticed this dude selling a pair of low-ankle Guidi's that look a bit more contoured than normal (pic below). Most Guidi soles look almost bullet-like to my eye.. almost straight on the outside and heavily rounded at the toe.

Got a second email from Roma boutique saying they would sell to overseas but with various conditions (only after payment transferred to their account from the credit card, no returns, buyer covers shipping over 50 Swiss Franks / ~US$50). Total price for these Guidi's below was quoted at 1098 Swiss Franks or US$1112. Price seems pretty competitive actually.
