E as in wide.
Yeah, I wear mostly denim ... Like these

OIC, yea E width virtually doesn't exist in the Artisan brands the lasts they use is the lasts they use. I assume some may have an option to get wider boots but i am not sure of how to go about that.
Most CM (which trickers kinda fall into) makers have the option because they are more equipped to deal with higher productions. Check a a1923, CCP, Layer-0, all of those are small shops that release very small batches. Trickers i believe has a huge factory in UK as does Alden in US.

I have wide feet and no probs with any of the above brands, but I like shoes to fit very snug (skier, rock climber, soccer player). In fact if shoes aren't unconformably small at first I know they're going to be too big for me in the long run.

your best guess would be to go with 43, and put an insole in if they are a little big.

trust me I have 9 pairs
wow, 9 pairs of MMM sidezips??!!

. hows slate gray compared to black? i see it as a much better overall color. better look with black jeans, super dark blue jeans than black. can u confirm that?

but im not sure if its actually that dark thats its almost black due to lighting shots in the photos ive seen

I wear slate much more than black, but I don't wear all black fits very often. The black pair feel really formal to me. I'd say go with slate if you plan to wear with jeans

I developed a sudden interest in white Guidi hiking boots, are there any places that stock them or would the only option be trying to do a custom order?

anyone know whether these guidis are 994's or 017's?

listing has no outsole measurement and apparently it affects the sizing quite a bit (994 being snug/normal Guidi sizing, 017 being TTS)

I can't tell 100% from that angle (easier from the side), but I think those are 017.

I think the 017 is one piece for the toe, vamp and quarter:

While the 994 has one piece for the toe+vamp and then another for the shaft/quarter.

I may not have the boot terminology 100% correct. But I think that is the major difference.
