1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I never noticed that. Mind you the pictures are not fantastic but this boot definitely has the heel brouging, and the other in stock WT boot does not.. strange.

The Halleck is an extremely good looking boot! Amazing! Great pics and enjoy them.
Looking good Ben! Those Cigar LWB's are killer. Headed anywhere good bruh?
Very nice! I love the shade here. How did they make out on the first wear?
Absolutely. Cannot. Spoiler. These are great DV! I really think you have the shoefie angle down. Every last looks so sleek in your photos.
These are so nice Mike! I can't wait for these to arrive. One of my favorite boots and you wear them well!

Dope! I love grained leather! Need to get Leffot to do a country calf daytripper!
Thanks Mike! I have no idea where these LWBs came from as I bought them previously loved. Any theories anyone? I have always guessed Carmel but don't know.
Filson Small Duffle. Great overnight bag (even a weekend if you pack smart) Fits my toiletry bag, a pair of boots, 2 outfits and room for a little bit more. Maybe it would be more fitting to this post if I describe the bag as dope... :)
    Home! Hahaha

It's warming up in Texas. Grill duty tonight. I thought my grilling apron complemented the #8 nicely. [IMG]

Unicorn boats with kryptonite eyelets. They kill me every time.
First, these ladies are spoken for. Second, they don't make them often. However, my pair is from this year's run for alden of Madison. You should build a relationship with that shop and start praying.
    Unbelievable sir. They're so nice.
I have them, they're buffalo hide nst on plaza. Adam also sold them in black. I'll share a fit pic tomorrow.
    Outstanding boots sir.
Thank you for the kind words. I really like the way these turned out.
    Dope.
    Dope Filson as well.

Not sure if you can call it a fad considering how few people would even be aware of the brand outside of a couple of mens fashion forums. Contrast that to allen edmonds which seems to have a cheering squad in the fashion thread of every general discussion internet community out there (wouldn't be surprised if they were running some kind of viral marketing campaign tbh). I would guess that the proportion of people buying wingtips or something ornate/fancy/"fogey" is heavily over represented in a forum like this. If you happen to like their plain toe oxfords a bit more than the competition and buy to wear to business meetings you probably aren't going to rush home to post a picture of it.

The cordovan obsession is bizarre (to me) too though. If I didn't know better I would probably have assumed it was some kind of cheap synthetic material. The idea that it's more durable than regular leather seems like a weird way of looking at it too - it's not like cordovan shoes or even boots were meant to be worn in rugged terrain - it's clearly a fashion piece. And the folds are probably more of a nuisance than the regular wear that shows on a standard leather dress shoe.
