First, there is much about this sequence that is amazing. From a great pair of chukkas to how a little VSC made them look as good as new. I will be very curious how the saphir works out. When I first joined this forum there were a few discussions on Reno versus VSC and I could not imagine anything better than saphir. Well I ran out of saphir a couple of months ago and picked up what will likely be a lifetime supply of VSC. As someone who has used them both I will say that VSC is definitely better, especially if you're after that 'dipped in liquid glass' look, which I like. Will be interested in your thoughts.
Did you use NEUTRAL VSC ? Thank you.

All the VSC that I've ever seen available is neutral. I've never had VSC or Saphir Renovateur change the color of my leather, though, so I wouldn't worry.

Never seen VSC before. I use Renovateur but would be willing to switch. Too bad I can't seem to locate any in Canada!

took these with me on vacation and first time wearing them out since buying last week. Walked a ton. Commando sole is very comfortable.

It's not really worth buying VSC until you run out of the Renovateur, but you can get some from Viberg at Workboot.com
