If it's narrow and snug, wouldn't I want a half size up? All the talk of half size down made me assume they ran a little big.
Normally I'd say size a half down from the AE 5 last, but since you are wide-ish, I'd go with the same as the 5 last with medium width.

#8 wingtip boots from AoC along with some tweed trousers from Hertling for a local shop:

1000

And since we're playing the watch game...

1000

I had been wearing my U1 all week but it just seemed a bit too beefy for today's clothing choice.

9073 From Citishoes with Black Edge.  Darker side of the cigar spectrum is typical on this make up from Citi, and appropriately so, IMO.  TSM's version has antique edge, as depicted by other poster.

My thoughts on a cigar balmoral.  Still very formal.  I only expect to wear these with a navy suit.  Would not wear to a job interview, ect, where I would instead employ a Black or Color 8 Cap Toe.  However, I would wear these cigar cap toes for social occasions where a suit is appropriate.  Weddings, Christenings, ect.

If my memory serves me correctly, you already own the 9016, therefore, since you have the basics covered, this would be a nice addition.  No doubt it's a niche make-up, rather than a staple.

The 9073 is a nice shoe. It is more formal if the edge is dark brown or black. While I would put it behind captoe bals in color 8 and black shell (or their calf equivalents) on the necessity scale, I would maintain it (or its dark brown calf equivalent) certainly has a place in a well rounded wardrobe. It works with various suit colors - navy, gray, olive, brown, tan. My dark brown captoe bal is calf - from the C&J Handgrade line.

Just got a couple of the BB King Perf Captoes in C & E widths (D was outta stock). The C is snug, but good otherwise. The E is more comfortable, but looser (wide) in the heal. A D-width might be a better fit overall, but I don't wanna wait till the next corp sale. Which would you keep?

Thanks for the encouragement zippyh. It wasn't too late. Pictures in 5 - 7 business days.

Lucky! I was too late.. I spent 30 minutes on the phone this morning with Ralph Lauren trying to locate a pair of Lindrick boots in my size, but to no avail. They said they would call me back if they happened to find anything, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Since I am wearing Carmina shell today, Ill share a watch pic from a week or so ago. Turn-O-Graph with black shell naval boots (Leffot) I particularly like the red second hand and date...
Well done!

With this group of shell lovers I'm shocked to see so many watches on metal straps.

I can't bring myself to spend the loot on one...
