Haha, seriously...boggles my mind that LS can get a shell pre-order completed faster than a suede one. I think whichever pre-order I'm on will invariably be delayed.

that creasing doesn't look bad in that photo at all congrats man. it would have creased like that the first day you wore them anyhow if you walk and move like a regular human :)


I know but there is something about getting a fresh pair of shoes. I had to try to keep my mind at ease.

I am really diggin these from need supply.

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on these as well!

Anyone know how the vegetable tanned calf leather wears over time (say, compared to Chromexcel)? Any thoughts on best practices to keep this type of leather looking clean/sharp vs. rugged/"patinaed" over time?

I see this makeup as a good "tweener" among the more casual, original Indy and the dressier shell versions.

A calfskin boot may be just as nice. I just happen to have (had :/) shell cordovan. Point is flat welt, sleek last (Plaza, Grant, Aberdeen), and eyelets make for a very versatile boot
