As others have said, outstanding shoe. I've seen this model in the past, but this is the best pair I've seen.

Alden NYC stocks a lot of great models - I wish they had more pairs in stock more often

New pickups photographed together. Whiskey LHS and Ravello LWB from J.Crew. Still not 100% sold on the brass eyelets on the LWBs but I really love this color with the antique edge. I'm considering replacing the brass with dark brown eyelets.

Gents, FYI, Che from Alden DC has apparently moved to NYC and is now working at Leffot. I ran into her there today. I had a Rider boot preorder waiting for me there, but apparently Rider messed up my sizing, so I grabbed the CXL PT boots instead, pics forthcoming

Is it me or do you gents have some differently fitting Aldens in the same last as well? Some of my Aldens in the same last (Barrie in this case) fit more tighter than others. Nothing too alarming, but noticeable nonetheless. The NXL Indy Oxfords I wore today is the most noticeably loose fitting, even though they're all in the same size and width.

I have a pair of thorogoods with the neocork sole I've worn over 40 times. The soles show no wear. And they are the slipperiest pair of boots I own.

Straight tip is my favorite of all stocks Alden's...would love to see in #8 with antique edge. There's something about the saddling that really makes this shoe awesome
