Congrats, I'm glad they were able to order your size.

Thanks, I've got my fingers crossed that this size works for me. If the fit is spot on, I'll order another pair in a different color with the new 25% off code.

Check any of the men's stores - Upper East Side, Liquor Store in Tribeca, or Soho. If they don't have your size, they will be able to locate them for you. A lot of the regular J Crew stores also carry that model but those three are your best bet (I like Upper East Side the best even though it is a hike for me)

You left out the store at Rockefeller ctr

Anybody have feedback on the Mocc Toe Bluchers in either Tar Brown (7118S) or Dark Brown Suede (7119S)? Both look super comfortable for weekends. Conventional wisdom to go TTS on the Leydon, right (I know AoC says it runs TTS)?

In my experience, the Leydon is quite narrow. In fact, I believe Leffot many times only offers E width in Leydon lasted Aldens (their rationale is that it is akin to a standard D width).

If possible, I would suggest you order at least 2 sizes - one should be TTS (say, 10D) and the other either (a) one width wider (10E) or (b) 1/2 size larger (10.5D). My personal preference is 1/2 size larger.

But I do know that many just go TTS .......

nephew,
looking very good, enjoy wearing

Thanks Uncle, much appreciated

Kippy: those Cigar LWBs with the light edge trim are gorgeous.
Mine have the dark trim and the light edge really makes the shoe a whole another beast.

Thanks Sazon, I hope you enjoy your Cigars as much as I enjoy wearing mine. Interesting to see what a difference the welt and edge trim color make. I view the antique edge trim as a more casual look while the dark edge trim in Cigar looks more traditional to me.

Agreed on sizing issue above. Part of the issue is also because there is very little toe box height in Leydon.

I've only had good experiences with NRO. To reiterate, they have a 25% off code right now- "USA" running through 7/1. Thinking about pulling the trigger on the cigar LHS.

Did anyone finally get the cigar LHS from NRO's 20% off a months ago? Or status of the order?
