You'll probably have to try on some shoes yourself and see how it feels on your feet. Personally, if I was in between a B and C, I'd probably go with a C width, because if the shoe is too tight then it will start to hurt your feet after a while, and unless the leather stretches there's nothing you can do about it. If it's just a tad on the wide side, you can just lace them up tighter or wear some thicker socks. But again, every shoe is different - for instance in the Barrie or Trubalance last you may need to go down to a B, because those lasts are generally wider than many others.
