Picked these up second hand. I'm Brannock 9.5D but with low volume foot so having too much room in the instep is often a problem for me (which is aggravated with loafers). These are 9.5C Aberdeen, and work ok. I've tried 9.5D & 9D in this style before, and both had way too much heel slip with heels popping out of the shoe with every step. This pair has a little bit of toe pinch, but I think manageable. I also picked up a pair of tan calf loafers on Copley in 9.5D, and those have a much lower vamp and fit great.

Almost copy of my own experience and issues. I will need to try copley

Defying convention, peer pressure and common sense, I chose a PTB on wingtip day.

You know you’ve got it bad when you get a restock notice from a retailer, you instantly go to see if your size is available, and are relieved to find that it is already gone………

Perfect summary of our collective plight.

I've never met anyone who works harder at selling than Y.S. I admire her business acumen; she's incredibly well-organized, remembers everything, never gives up. Have never met her in person, because I'm literally afraid to visit her beautiful shop (and what a great location).

Sadly my size is still in stock...wish me luck.

Blue calf LHS, circa 2016-18

Initially I found the color a bit hard to coordinate with clothes. With time it acquired a sort of metallic tone that makes it quite versatile.
