$1000+ has curbed my desire for rare shell cordovan. I have curated a decent collection, so I will be slowing down my future purchases. I think there are only one or two grails that I’m seeking, so I am good. 👍🏾

Right there with ya man. Why do I need a bigger shoe collection when a thousand dollars for shoes makes that ten thousand dollar watch a way more intriguing value proposition.

This really is a very nice make. Once I got over my initial disappointment of the change, I came to realize just how much I liked it, and surprisingly, I could use a C-8 boot. Fortunately for me when I tried to snag a pair over the weekend, my size was taken.

Congrats on a really cool pickup. As the legend would say, wear in good health.

Interesting though likely too late. You know how it is when you get that itch. After striking out at JC, I immediately hopped over to Madison and took care of the itch with some basic 8 Chukkka’s. Not nearly as sexy as the Crew’s, but I’ve been thinking about a pair for a while. And there was that itch…….

~$7k for a new 124270 ref from an AD. I think second hand models start around 6k and go up from there depending on the reference.
