It seems the QC has dipped a bit on my last three rare shell cordovan offerings. The good thing is, TSM will take care of you.
QC is something that should not "dip", it is the reason we buy Alden vs the "other" A company (whose QC is terrible)

At this point I look at it as character, if it isn't too bad. Anything handmade or finished will never be perfect. Chip's loafers are definitely unacceptable, but some stuff I'll let go. My Ravello boots are far from flawless, but I like them. As soon a you wear them and bump against something, they become seconds anyway. Lol!

Some minor things, resulting from being handmade are to be expected...Two tone shell is not one of those things. I sometimes worry about scuffing/scratching new shell, but do it anyway as that's the nature of footwear, we wear it, it gets scuffed....
