Ditto, Ravello wingtip boots are cool. The amaretto shortwings, however, appear odd to me. The shell would have been better served on a different pattern in my opinion. Between the brogueing pattern and the last, it’s a miss in my book.
I respect the oxfords for what they are. They look nice, but the brass eyelets and the way the wings fall just looks off to me. Some tweaks to the pattern and I think that color shell could like nice, especially with some patina

With Mahogany Indy (L) and AoM Burnished Tan Calf WTB (R)
KmdmHeK.jpg

I enjoy seeing all the rare shell here. However, while I wear the pairs I have somewhat regularly, they're not the ones I reach for most often in the rotation (#8 LWB's being an exception).

As great as that new pair is, I just have to give the nod to your AoM Burnished Tan Calf WTB's for now. Fantastic.

That restoration work on those Whiskey LWBs is absolutely phenomenal. I was impressed/blown away by the attention to detail that he manually put into recreating the original look. The hand creating of the pinking is just awesome. Really cool video to watch. I am glad that the shoes were able to be restored so nicely!!!

Something a little different here fellas. This past Sunday I lost my father to canser. He was diagnosed less than a year ago but had a pretty hard time since February and his last several days . Thankfully he lives in my neighborhood and I was able to spend a lot of time with him and was there when he passed. One thing about the man, he loved Shoes . His favorite where always Cole Haan, J&M and Ferragamo . He probably has 40 pair nearly New that I am very much looking forward to donate to the men’s shelter where someone will get some enjoyment out of them like he did. This is a pair of his shoes that I am probably wearing . We both wore the same size.
