Good guess. It should be my first guess too. I thought it is the last similar to modified which is more roomy than barrie imho. It turns out I found it is actually a bit tighter than barrie.
Actually, my brain wasn't caffeinated yet - I meant to say 379X

So this is 379x.....service shoes built with black shell. Marked and sold as factory second yet I found its shell quality is even better than the ordinary black shell chukka I bought at AoSF early last year. A true bargain.

Ahh... and what's your experience been of the fit with the 379x? How does it compare to the Barrie/Modified? Surely does look like a wide last, but never even tried a pair on...

I would say it's halfway between Barrie and Modified. Not quite as orthopedic as Modified, but definitely more rounded and functional than Barrie. Wide toe-box, narrow/supportive arch/waist, with a narrower heel. I find that all of them run 1/2 size large, so go down 1/2 size from TTS.
