I have not tried Y William Yu or Baramon, but I thought Baramon was in line with Yao, AMHC some years ago both in terms of the quality and price. If quality did not change, Baromon should be a safer bet. Some feed back of recent experience may be needed here.

As you might have noticed, each person's experience of the same tailors vary a lot and variance seems get even get bigger compared to before. You mentioned this is your first bespoke but you are a suit wearer either of RTW or MTM? Hong Kong tailors tends to follow what clients request sometimes even beyond reasonable balance. So you need to be even more careful.

Thank you very much for the comments.

I only had RTW suits before, but they don't fit me very well. I previously made some bespoke shirts in HK, and they were great. But the tailor shop, which made those shirts, is now closed.

I will do more study before going to the tailor. I am thinking of a classic UK cut, basic suit in navy or charcoal grey. I think I may go to the H Baromon, and posted the results.

Thanks.

You may check Grand Tailor in Causeway Bay for more UK style. The last time I used them was may be 3 years ago, but I think they have not changed their operation.

I don't think it's fair for anyone to made such statement just from hearsay and without any evidence to substantiate it.

If want to criticize on their fitting/style, at least show some pictures on what you mean instead of just giving a blanket statement.

Agree, picture speaks a 1000 words.

I have PM-ed one very respectable member here but he has yet to comment on Prologue product for some reason....

Hi, I've just committed my order at H Baromon. It's a 2pc dark navy suit, entry-level fabric.

The first fit is middle next week. I will keep updating. Thanks.

We have not seen Baromon garments for ages here. Looking forward seeing your process.
