I think it would have taken the last 25 years just to watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Looks like they were trying to incorporate movies that they think their readers would have chosen. Some of the choices are laughable though. Men in Black/Beverly Hills Cop? What the ****.

LOTR. LOL True. What a frigging snoozefest. Dull nonsense in hushed tones.

I love Bond flicks but Casino Royale has no business in the top 20.

Men In Black was rated 49 spots higher than Full Metal Jacket. That is all I have to say about this list.

I just want to know what Speed is doing on any best-of list. Or clueless for that matter.

If I were to make a, "Worst Films I've Ever Seen" list, I'd say 80% of the movies I've culled above would be on there. I'm wondering if this was done by committee, or an intern just went onto IMDB and looked for a list of the highest rated films of the past 25 years. I particularly enjoyed films that came out not even a year ago ending up on the top half of the list and random goodness like In the Mood for Love somehow winding up on there. Entertainment Weekly: a pillar of American arts, entertainment and culture.

Well, I can see culturally significant films that I just don't dig like that and LotR being on the list, sure. But man, when those are some of this list's best movies...

You know as much about film as you know about rocket science. I'll take a wager and guess you don't work for NASA. I work in the industry, and can tell you that some of the movies on your "terrible list" are viewed as all time classics by the majority of people in the industry. Stick to your day job, bud.
