Thank you! This was just the kind of response I was after.

The apron stitch like this is really beautiful, and I've seen him in doing it on loafers:

As for the leather, he has some old pigskin that's actually quite soft. You raise some very good questions though, and I'll definitely have to consider this more closely.
Do you have more pics of this shoes

What is the relationship between Raz Maftei and, I believe his name is
Alexandru Maftei?

Picked up a pair in Warsaw, from the great Tadeusz Januszkiewicz. Black, full brogue Oxfords. And placed another order for the same in a plum-colored crust leather that will be a deep mahogany after polishing. Many thanks to Damian Kot for his assistance! Also another pair coming from Aga Prus, a few minutes away by taxi.

Cool with Aga Prus, how did you experience their shoes, both the men and women ones? My wife would like to order some bespoke ballerinas sometime, and they are one of the contenders for that order.

Their service and fit are very good. Style and construction less reminiscent of London than, say, Kielman would be. Which looks to be less of an issuewith the ladies’ shoes. Those come both with high heels and in more sober oxfords, etc.

When I say less like London, I don’t mean to impugn quality. More of a style thing. They are good workmen and very smart about getting fit correct.

Mine will be shipped today, after some small tweaks they did.

For those interested in following his new adventure:

If I ever get around to saving for a pair of bespoke shoes/boots (I guess it's a matter of just to stop spending on many other unnecessary things) I have to say that Nicholas Templeman and Daniel Wegan currently are the most attractive options because of the work I've seen online and the feedback from customers in general.

Alright, sounds good!

My man Daniel Wegan (formerly of G&G) is heading over to the USA in a couple of weeks for his first trunk show under his own steam, going to be hitting NYC and Dallas and replying his own label - Catella Shoemaker. Go show him some love

He's coming to Sweden this spring as well, don't miss! :)
