Let's be real, simply existing in North Carolina come summertime is an ordeal as it is. The idea of being properly dressed is its own version of torture.
That said, I'm more intrigued at the prospect of the 7A suit now knowing the weight. Would look pretty swell paired with my Solbiati glen check linen ties for summer weddings...whenever social gatherings once again become a thing.
It's a burden. That's for sure. Lol.
I've found that once temps get to 90 and the humidity is up (basically mid-June through mid-September here), heavier open weave fabrics really aren't doing do much without an associated breeze. I have some normal weight fresco trousers that can be very warm in the middle of July...unless a hurricane is going on. Then they're fine.
That light blue John Foster jacket, at it's lightweight 250 gr., is now peaking my curiosity.
