Bumping my post from a few months back. I one pair of unlined suede derby's via Brooks Brothers, by Alden. Comes with boxes and bags and all the stuff. Worn sparingly and any marks are superficial. Both shoes are in great shape and in unlined suede. Always Treed and brushed

I need to move these so open to all reasonable offers.

Alden for Brooks Brothers (Leydon Like Last) 10.5 D. Unlined and worn a bit more maybe 10-12 times. Oiled flex sole. Asking 175$ via PP or Venmo shipped in the US.

What do you think of the 379x compared to Barrie and TB?

I like it a lot, but its an interesting/difficult last to size. I think it sits firmly in the .5 down, or .5 down up a width, or TTS camps equally lol. It's the closest Alden comes to a Munson, a narrow waist, relatively lower instep, and open forefoot. I think the forefoot is roomier than barrie and the overall last is shorter too. Its like a more fitted TB maybe is a better way to put it. I would still recommend trying it in your usual TB/Barrie size first and then seeing if you want to adjust up a width or go up a length (while the toebox is roomier it tapers a bit sooner on the lateral side.) I found the shell pair I had before to be a to die for fit. This calf was a bit snug, but also I would expect it to stretch back out quite quickly. These were one of my possible thunder dome pairs originally. They lost the cut because technically these are one of 8 bct brown boots I have and leather soles not the best for winter here.
