Yeah green CXL semi-brogues were not something I ever knew I needed until I started perusing this forum. Thanks to you and Strand King for your momentous (enabling) contributions in the community.
65 last has never fit me well but hoping the CXL stretchiness will do the trick.
I'll be interested in hearing how they fit. The issue may be the poron insole. I loved my Rush Street (wish they were green!) but they always fit a little tighter than other 65 models. Luckily you can get some stretch out of the CXL.

Congrats my friend. I'm just green with envy.

You know, I've never been sure exactly what kind of leather the green is for the Rush Street. Some say calf, some say cxl. All I know is that it is one of those waxy/oily leathers similar to cxl. It will give and stretch some, as my olive Strandmok is made of the same leather. I did find with my golden brown cxl pair that the V is mega wide, but it still fits fine. I'm tempted to ask that Ebay seller where they found a pair of 8-9 year old Rush Streets in such perfect condition.

The listing mentioned that the pair had been sitting out on display for a while, however it strikes me as odd as you'd think they'd have been laced and would have at least some creasing if that were the case.

I, too, had the same question about the exact leather type. By look the green almost appears more like a dublin with the matte effect vs the soft sheen of CXL. How do you typically care for your green strandmoks?

Weatherproof chili Higgins Mill boots with sporting some different laces. I've been moving most my boots over to this work boot style of laces. Just seems to fit my mindset at this time.

But all sneakers look like they belong in the gym.
We will agree to disagree.

I find these distinctly different and for different purposes.

Light ribbing is the intent here but you remind me of the Porsche guys who went on about the Cayenne being built and how it would ruin the purity of the 911. When it provided Porsche with significant income to produce even more 911 variants along with "sneakers".

Disagree. I only wear trainers in the gym, but a nice pair of minimalist sneakers (real sneakers and not dress sneaker hybrids) with jeans, chinos or cords is fine. I'm loving these. Would I have paid 275? Probably not, but the clearance price of 100 was fine, and the flash sale price of 70 that I paid was great.

To be fair... The 1st gen Cayenne was an abomination.

Some of these sneakers have uppers that are beginning to look less gym or sports related, now more extreme casual, but the white leather minimalist ones are classic gym shoes as that's what gym shoes used to look like.
