Tan?

Would you say these boots are tan in color?

I thought tan was supposed to be much lighter? These look brown/reddish to me.

I see. They picture may actually be of the tan boot then, only with poor coloring. I was wondering if the product shot was a mistake (i.e. they put the wrong picture or color description on their site), but I guess maybe not. I think unless I find some other pictures or see them in real life it will be hard to judge anyway.

But tan is supposed to be lighter than what is shown in the picture, that's what I was wondering about.
