I'm conflicted on how I feel about WSB posts that say things like, "I've managed to accumulate 50 shares of (insert random $15 stock here) and how it moons! On one hand good on them for at least taking part in the market, on the other hand, when you're obviously working a tiny account IMO one should be conservative and build some equity first. I also do not like the expectations this shows concerning investing.

I wonder what income levels some of these people are. Like it if it some kid using his parents cash, whatever, but if it is someone who is throwing their rent payment in the market, well that is another thing all together. I guess they could take the rent money to the casino and get the same effect.

I think people should also be open about their bad calls/losses along with the wins so as not to fuel irrational exuberance and intensify FOMO.

There's actually a phenomenon that you'll like: loss p0rn. Folks often post screen shots of huge losses.

If anyone is in search of yield, Marcus is offering a 0.70% 18-month CD or you could get <4% in junk bonds 😍

All that effort? Bro, we want passive income.
I know you're trolling me, but Schwab has an annuity calculator. A 40 year old man can put $1M into an annuity and get $3,400/mo for life. He can even get a guaranteed minimum payout of $1M for almost the same price.

So give me the $1M and I'll go get a passive income.

Annuity calculator? Think about it bro.. $50/mo is $600/year. If you live another 50 years, that's $30,000!!! That's the power of passive income!
