No. But most people around here think my clothes are too wide and too full. I think that looks good on you. I like wider lapels myself, but that seems to fit just fine. The skinny lapel actually gives it a youthful look that mitigates/compensates for any fullness that you might be concerned about.

thanks for the opinions. the trousers do fit great. what is worse 1000 dollar trousers or take a big loss on everything and have nothing to show for it? maybe i can start to agree with manton and its not that bad.

1) A quick search should get you some good tailors in SF. I am using Manuel's Customer Tailoring @ San Jose 408-246-8128. Manuel does bespoke suits/shirts himself but I haven't tried that. Have no experience with taking in jacket shoulders as well. One thing you should know if you decide to use him is that you have to make sure exactly what you need.

2) RLBL suits goes for $450-$750 on B&S forum from my observation in the past couple months

i want to say thanks for this recommendation. i went to manuels and i am completely satisfied with the results. he took out a lil more than half an inch of width from each shoulder and eased that line down to the arm pits. about 60 bucks per. a bargain i say. will post pics to compare if anyone cares, when i get a minute.
