Does this suit jacket fit in the shoulder?

Hi All,

I found a suit that I like in terms of material. Both the sleeves and the stomach need to be tailored. But I am trying to figure out if the shoulders are too big. They seem a bit too wide, yet I don't have the tell tale signs of dimpling and so on. After some basic measurements, I'd say this jacket is about .5 inches on both sides longer than a perfect or near perfect fit. Yet when I wear it, it seems OKAY. But I might be totally misguided.

So could this jacket work after tailoring the normal things (sleeve, stomach, etc.)? Am I allowed to have slightly longer shoulders if they still look okay with the suit?

better photos please. It's hard to discern much from these.

no selfies
camera at roughly chest height pointing straight ahead (not tilted up or down)
face directly to the camera; don't angle your torso

On it. I haven't done this before. I'll update with pictures shortly.

I updated the OP, and I am leaving this image here for the sake of accessibility.

so while it is often fine and even desirable to have some shoulder extension, in this case the jacket looks like it might be a size too large?
Yes, I think you are right unfortunately. It was a thrift purchase that I can return for store credit. It did seem to fit when I tried it on, but I think the shoulders are just a bit off. And the cost to tailor shoulders seems too much given what I am desiring to pay.

Thanks everyone. I returned it.

I had happed I could spend money tailoring to fit well, but the shoulder was not right. I asked a bespoke tailor shop about it; and they of course concurred.

I appreciate the help!
