Personally, I don't care and don't follow it. I have some light colored suede shoes that I wear in summer. I tend not to wear dark suede, like mink, but then in general I wear light shoes all summer long, except when black is required for some reason or another.

In order to not open a new thread, what do you generally wear suede shoes with? I have CJ handgrade Boswells and cant figure out what to wear them with...Originally Posted by tom288
I wear suede oxfords with cords and a casual shirt or flannel trousers and a end-on-end shirt. Suede loafers with chinos / polos.
