Hi guys, I'm currently looking for a suede chukka within the price range of Loake and Meermin. Am looking at the Loake Pimlico and Meermin's equivalent offering. Which is the better one in terms of quality?

Would also appreciate if there are suggestions on other brands.

Thanks.

I have handled both. Loake (1880 line) is better than Meermin in terms of finishing and leather quality. Loake's is soft and pliable; Meermin's a touch stiffer and drier. Meermin's shape is nicer though.

Thanks. I've opted for a pair of Loake Pimlico.
