Sportcoat/blazers

Hello All,

I am looking for some advice on buying a sportcoat or blazer etc. What I am looking for is something I can wear to work, with a tie and dress pants or with jeans and khakis. I'm particularly looking for one that is more of a slimmer, contemporary look and fit. The most I'd pay for one is about $600 and I live in NY so I can go pretty much anywhere.

Can anyone suggest a few brands and places I should look? Thanks in advance for your help.

Do some research and provide pics/links to 3 that you are considering. Right now the answer to your question is that you can find what you are looking for in any men's store or department store. Narrow it down first and you'll get constructive advice for/against whatever you've chosen.

And if you have the time and are patient (and lucky) you might find one online for say, $500-600 that retails for $2000+
